Set on 2,000 acres in the heart of Georgia's Red Hills, The Knellinger Plantation has served as a hunting property for more than a century. Today, under the Knellinger family, it continues that tradition with guided quail hunts, comfortable lodging, and the kind of quiet hospitality that's defined this land for generations.
Every hunt is fully guided, with experienced dogs and horses at your side. Hunts run from mid-November through the end of February, when quail season is at its best.
Hunts are limited to a maximum of four shooters, keeping the experience close and unhurried. Non-shooting guests are always welcome to ride along.
Morning hunts begin between 9:15 and 9:30 and run about two and a half hours or until your limit is reached, with a break for lunch and time to relax at the lodge before an afternoon hunt starting around 2:00.
Choose a full-day hunt with lunch included, or a split-day package with an afternoon hunt, supper, overnight lodging, breakfast, and a morning hunt to close things out.

Beyond the hunt, enjoy sporting clays, fishing, and seasonal trail rides across the property. Most experiences are offered as add-ons to your hunting or lodging package, though standalone bookings are available upon request.
